CHATTACHOOCHEE-OCONEE NATIONAL FORESTS


Over 867,000 acres across, the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests have beautiful oak and pine trees that cover rolling hills and surround hiking trails. Black bears, wild turkey and deer live in the forests, so bring a pair of binoculars or a camera. There are also unique rocks and boulders that you can climb on top of. You could also learn about the history of these forests by visiting some of their recreation centers. You will love exploring all the beauty that these national forests have to offer.
