History

Aurel Prodan, the head chef of Bodensee, trained at culinary school and then went on to work at multiple successful restaurants in Germany. Now Prodan lives with his wife in Helen and owns the restaurant of Bodensee. He continues to create stunning dishes for his eatery and runs a talented kitchen staff.

This is a real find, never having been to Helen. The food is tasty, well prepared, and considerable! Neither my wife nor I could finish. Spaetzle wonderful! Red cabbage made us want to try making it at home.

The owner is Amazing! So was our server. And let me tell you about the amazing food and beer we had, legit the best!!! I recommend this place cause of its welcoming atmosphere and tasty treats.
